Jehu anointed king over Israel.

In 11 kings chapter 9- Elisha said unto the one of the sons of prophets to take a flask of oil and proceed to anoint JEHU king over Israel and after doing that in a room, run away from there. Why? I guess he might be killed, because of anointing somebody who might not be probably qualify for kingship. But God knew he fears Him and whatsoever He asked him to do, he will do. The anointing was carried out at Ramoth Gilead. He destroyed the house of Ahab his own master like the house of Jeroboam. There was a prophecy that dogs will eat Jezebel on the plot of ground at jezreel without burial which came to pass. Many dogs ate his flesh, because a dog may eat and leave some part behind, but when they are many, they may eat all. In chapter 10:18-31: During the period of Jehu, he ordered all the prophets of baal to gather in a single room and were killed with sword. That ended the issue of worshipping baal in Israel. God was happy with Jehu and said although, Jeroboam sin did not make Jehu to turn away from that sin, but the Lord made covenant with Jehu that because he has done what pleased God, he will allow his sons to sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation. This means God is always happy when you do his will, even by eliminating the Anti God in the Old testament history. People of God, when you do the will of God, there can be waiver in allowing you to do well. Jehu was not a saint but because he ended the worship of baal in Israel, his sons were permitted to the throne of Israel upto four generation. Please, let us do the will of God no matter how difficult. The grace to do this, may the Lord bestow on us ijmn.
