God and second trinity are good examples of shelter of glory while the devil the father of liars that was defeated on the cross is a typical example of shelter of shame. Christ is the only destroyer of the works of the devil 1 john 3:8. In spite of all these, some people still take shelter in god of iron (Ogun). Some take shelter in god of thunder (Sango). Some take shelter in obatala, Some in ayelala, Some in erede in Usen ovia South West of Edo State e. t. c. Some in herbalists, ogboni, ifa. They are good to those who love them, but they were created by God. However, one peculiarity about these gods is the fact that they are not humans in flesh and they cannot be said to resurrect after death, but Jesus did. Christ resurrected and lives forever Isaiah 9:6. Therefore, taking shelter in all these gods and goddesses that cannot talk, that cannot see,that cannot smell, that cannot walk and touch is the greatest foolery, because human beings are higher.
