Nigeria type of Sodom and Gomorrah

What are the sins committed by Sodom and Gomorrah in Bible history of the Old testament that have not been found in Nigeria? This simple question can be asked in the present day Nigeria. Lies, fornication, Adultery, murder, blood sucking, flesh eating, savage attitude, selfishness, rituals, theft, disobedience to God, 419ners, etcetera were in the Old testament history and in the period of Sodom and Gomorrah, except yahoo+. Jesus came to analyse what is required from us. Paul also did same in his fourteen epistles which I call Pauline letters. To the Romans, 1 and 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians upto Hebrew. Paul was dynamic in his teachings based on the standard of Christ the Saviour. It is disheartening that Nigeria is becoming the headquarters of evil even though, we pray earnestly under different spiritual giant men of God. In Gen 19:24, 26 the Lord got angry with Sodom and Gomorrah. Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven. Let me explain this verse. It means it comes directly from God without any intermediary like angels. In verse 26, the Lord experimented his anger on lot’s wife as a result of disobedience to look back at the beautiful things she left behind. Could it be jewelries, gold, ornaments etcetera. The result was not palatable for the house, for she became a pillar of salt, rendering the children motherless and lot the husband a widower. Nigeria cannot be different from the sins committed by Sodom and Gomorrah. Their own is even worse. The question is why was the prayer of men of God in the period of Sodom and Gomorrah jettisoned? It was because they could not remote God to suit themselves, for the eyes of God do not behold sin. Can the eyes of God behold sin in Nigeria? Can God be remoted to favour Nigeria while committing sins? It is forbidden. However, the period of grace, where mercy speaks must not be misused as we do in Nigeria. Jam 2:13 speaks about mercy. Nevertheless, we are told to pray until our joy is full. There are many references on this, but I will only quote few ones John 15:11, Eph 5:16, I Thess 5:17, John 16:24, 1 chron 16:11. People of God, let’s learn from the people of Sodom and Gomorrah with a view to making amend. God bless you all. God can still favour us, if only we show penitence. Individuals should strive hard to get to destination which is heaven.
