Peace belongs to God.

Our text is Isaiah 26:3. What is peace? A state of tranquility, quiet and harmony, absence of violence. Who gives peace? Is only God that gives everlasting peace. There are two types of peace. (1) Permanent peace of God and temporary peace of the devil. Who are those to enjoy the peace of God? “Those whose mind is stayed on thee” because Jer 17:7 says blessed is the man that—– in the Lord and whose hope the Lord is while vs 5 says woe unto him that put his trust in man and —– his arm and whose heart—– from the Lord. Psalm 119:165 says great peace have they which love thy law and nothing shall offend them. Psalm 48:3 says God is known in her palaces— and read up to verse 5. However, the peace the devil gives short lives, because he gives and later withdraw it. He blesses and later add sorrow to it, but God is without sorrow Prov 10:22. Which are the types of sorrow from the devil? Sickness, Ailments, Attack, Worries etcetera. Seeking peace from the devil is like a ram fattened for the day of slaughter like the Agric fowls. There is peace where God is, because He is our shelter and strength and always ready to help in times of trouble. Psalm 46:1. The question now” Where do you seek your own peace? Retrace your step back to the Lord, He’s ready to deliver you. He’s kind. Peace belongs to Him only. He will never torment you, if your mind stayed on Him.
